Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ClarifySEO ("the Service"), available at clarifyseo.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.

2. Description of the Service

ClarifySEO is an SEO audit tool that connects to your Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 accounts to analyse your site's search performance. The Service uses this data to generate a report containing findings, identified opportunities, and a prioritised action plan.

Reports are delivered as a web view and a downloadable Word document (.docx). The Service is intended for website owners, marketers, and digital agencies seeking to understand and improve their search performance.

3. Google data access and usage

To generate your audit, ClarifySEO requests access to the following Google data via OAuth 2.0:

• Google Search Console — search queries, impressions, clicks, click-through rates, and average position for your connected property.
• Google Analytics 4 — traffic channels, page engagement metrics, and session data where available.

This data is accessed solely to generate your requested audit report. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used to train AI models. Your Google data is processed at the time of the audit and is not retained beyond what is necessary to display and deliver your report.

ClarifySEO's use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. User accounts

You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using ClarifySEO, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Payments and refunds

ClarifySEO offers two paid plans:

• Pay per report — a one-off payment of £15 per audit. Payment is charged at the time of purchase.
• Subscription — a recurring monthly payment of £40, providing a monthly audit allowance. Subscriptions renew automatically on your billing date and can be cancelled at any time from your account page.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. ClarifySEO does not store your card details.

Refund policy: Refunds on pay-per-report purchases are only considered where an audit has failed to complete and no credit has been automatically returned to your account. To request a refund, contact us at hello@clarifyseo.app with evidence of the failed audit. Subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without prior written permission
• Submit false or misleading information to generate reports
• Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal use

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and underlying technology, is the intellectual property of ClarifySEO. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

The audit reports generated from your data are yours to use, share, and act on. ClarifySEO does not claim ownership of your report content.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ClarifySEO does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the reports generated will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Reports are based on your live search data. Results will vary depending on how recommendations are implemented and the competitive landscape of your site.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClarifySEO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunity.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have a subscription, you can cancel it from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these terms, with or without notice.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
